6 of Swords: Let go & move on towards freedom
The six of swords invites us to let go, move on, escape and start again. There is a comfort in this card, a guardian assisting you with the assurance that all will be well. Calm your thoughts. Let go of the burden of old beliefs. Know that you have gained wisdom from your experiences, but don’t let them drag you down. Keep it light, go with the flow and move forward.

05 The Hierophant: A guiding authority
The Hierophant represents tradition, conformity, rituals, rules and ceremony. This card is about following the rules, because there are situations when that is the best solution for us, despite a desire not to conform to society’s order. The Hierophant can also symbolise a teacher or mentor, someone who is guiding you. This card could also suggest that you should seek guidance to help you find a more authentic path through life.

Ace of Swords: Breakthrough, enlightenment and victory.
A card of new beginnings, this Ace is about mental clarity, communication and decision making. It encourages you to open your mind to new ideas and to pursue your truth. Once the clouds part, it’s that moment when suddenly everything becomes clear. It’s time to start a new project, or maybe you are on the verge of a breakthrough. This card is full of energy and in all three interpretations, things are pointing skywards!

9 of Pentacles: Enjoy the fruits of your labour
This card says it’s time to harvest the fruits of your labour, look back at all the hard work and all you have achieved through discipline. You are self reliant, financially independent and successful, so it’s time to treat yourself! Pentacles represent the material side of things in life, but material wealth isn’t the only aspect this card represents- a richness of spirit and an appreciation of the abundance in your life is also symbolised in these three very different cards.

10 long heavy Wands are often depicted as a burden being carried by a lone person in this card. They have a path to follow, a place to take the Wands, but with heads down and eyes closed, it’s hard to concentrate on the goal, or even remember why they’re doing it. The difficult weight of the burden and responsibilities pulling them down causes a distraction from the bigger picture, but help is there if they choose to seek it.

5 of Cups: Feel it. It will pass.
Often a fairly dark looking card, the five of cups represents sadness, loss, disappointment, pain and grief. Cups have been knocked over, their contents spilled, but if the figure in the card chooses to look up and about themselves, they would see that two of the five cups are still standing and there is a way forward out of their misery, typically depicted as a bridge over a river, leading to a safe haven.
