After Tarot

Welcome to the After Tarot. The concept of the deck is both simple and wonderful at the same time. Each arcana is portrayed a few seconds, or minutes after the moment we are used to, as it is found in almost all traditional tarot. So the Fool who is usually portrayed walking near the edge of a cliff, will now be shown hanging off that very cliff. In the After Tarot, time becomes as much as important as what is illustrated on the Arcana. It is not just to see a scene and let our intuition find the meaning, but it is made to encourage the reader to think forward and backwards in time, and empower perception and sensibility.

This deck with artworks by Giulia F. Massaglia, gives us the impression that the still images we are so familiar with, are not so still as we thought, but are only a snap shot of the whole scene in motion.
