Catrin Welz-Stein drew inspiration from the classic Waite Tarot cards, subsequently developing her own personal interpretation for each motif. Furthermore, she designed both a male and a female alternative for the Emperor and each of the four King cards, adding these five special cards to the deck. This allows every user to choose which version they wish to incorporate into their Tarot readings.

In the accompanying booklet, Catrin Welz-Stein explores the depicted symbols in detail, describing the intuitions that guided her in creating these unique illustrations.
